Stepane Tsiklauri

Born and raised in the shadow of Kazbegi, Stephane is a true son of Gergeti village and one of the original Altihut allies. Long before the hut opened its doors, he was hammering planks and hauling stones across mountain rivers to help build Alessandro’s Bridge, yes, that bridge on Chkheri river. Since then, he’s become an irreplaceable part of Altihut’s supply chain, navigating steep trails, impossible deadlines, and occasionally tackling steep slopes, sudden changes of plans and the odd alpine drama, all with quiet grit and highland charm. When Stephane shows up, you know supplies and usually good stories form the “lowland” have arrived. 
When things get serious, he puts on a different hat, as an active member of the local mountain rescue and firefighting team, Stephane stands ready to help those in trouble, he’s the kind of person you'd want on your side when the clouds roll in.
