Staying here was a great experience. Lina was one of the hosts and she made everything very comfortable and was very kind. The hut itself was extremely nice and new, clean and great for a stay. The hike from Gergeti isn't too far and it is worth a night to stay in this beautiful area and have a unique experience in Georgia.

Great ones: locality, views, kind and helpful staff, good mountain vibes To improve and compared to the price: mattresses need a change, basic dinner (troops of "cargo" horses pass everyday around), missing shower/washing facility (yes, cold water is ok), a drying room for wet clothes/shoes/equipment. There are little things to make Altihut perfect. Overall: great place to stay for one night. Recommended.

We stayed here for one night. The hut is nicely built, clean and comfortable. Great views from both inside and from the deck. Very friendly staff, great food and a range of beverages are available. There is a great audio setup in the library, which is definitely a nice plus!

Great place to start the Mount Kazbek ascent. Kakha was a great host, chef, repair guide, basically everything!

It's one of the best mountain huts i have ever been , really clean , i mean , it's really clean with good vibes , I slept there for 2 nights, and i haven't had enough Good food and drinks ! You can rent some equipments if you want to do a glacier hike
