Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Altihut 3014, a privately funded impact-driven destination located at 3,014 meters above sea level.
These Terms and Conditions govern your stay, outline your responsibilities as a guest, and reflect the spirit of respect and sustainability that defines the Altihut experience.

By accessing or using our facilities, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Registration and Check-in. All guests must complete registration upon arrival for smooth accommodation and safety purposes.

2. Respect for House Rules! Guests are kindly asked to:
Treat the hut, your room, and all shared facilities (bathrooms, dining areas, terraces) with care.
Maintain a peaceful atmosphere — noise should be minimized after 21:00.
Tidy your bed and room before check-out.
Be mindful of the environment, other guests, and all living beings around you.

3. Restricted Activities
For safety, legal, and environmental reasons, the following are strictly prohibited:

Smoking anywhere inside the building.
Cooking with personal stoves or gas appliances.
Consumption of personal food or alcohol inside the hut.
Bringing alcohol or narcotic substances into the premises.
Hosting or engaging in political and/or religious debates.
Bringing pets into the hut or sleeping areas (due to potential alergie risks of guests, we are forced to have this rule).
Disorderly conduct, harassment, or any behavior considered harmful or disruptive to guests, staff, the mountain environment — or the galaxy at large.
Displaying an unwillingness to engage with others, communicate, or simply enjoy life at altitude. Grumpiness is non-compliant with cosmic tranquility.

4. Energy and Resource Use
Electricity is turned off between 23:00 and 05:00 to reduce our environmental footprint.
Please use the designated Altihut slippers indoors to maintain cleanliness and coziness.

5. Sustainability and Responsibility
Altihut is not just a mountain hut — it’s a platform for systemic change. As an impact investment venture, we address:

High-altitude waste management
Mountain safety and responsible tourism
Economic empowerment of local communities
By staying at Altihut, you actively support this mission. Therefore, Please:

Refrain from polluting the alpine environment. Take your waste with you or dispose of it responsibly after carring it back to the civilization.

6. Disclaimer
We strive to make your stay as magical as the view. However, if anything from pillow firmness to playlist vibes or even Manchester United’s latest results falls short of your expectations, we appreciate your feedback. Just let us know. We’re all ears.

7. Cancellation Policy

Sometimes sh@# happens and even mountains can’t fix your plans. If you are forced to cancel your booking, the following rules apply (and unlike the weather at 3,014 meters, these rules do not change without warning - consider yourself warned and, please respect them, just as we do respect your upcoming visit & prepare for it with care).

  • Up to 4 weeks before arrival: Full refund. We’ll miss you, but your wallet won’t.
  • Up to 3 weeks’ notice: 30% of your payment will climb into our “non-refundable” mountain fund.
  • Up to 2 weeks’ notice: 50% stays with us, think of it as your contribution to keeping the tea hot and surroundings clean at high altitude.
  • Less than 2 weeks before arrival (it is where drama starts): 100% non-refundable.
Be reasonable and try to understand our decision, nothing personal, only common sense: by this time, we’ve already stocked the hut, Stefane's horses delivered everything for your upcoming comfortable stay, fluffed the new sheets,  and all mountian birds have been trained to sing your welcome songs.

By booking, you agree to this policy. The closer you cancel, the more the mountain keeps.
It’s not personal, it’s Hut business.
Think of it as a quiet agreement between you, us, and the mountain… an offer you can’t refuse.

8. Final Note
These Terms and Conditions are not merely rules. They are part of the philosophy of high-altitude harmony.
Be kind. Be curious. Be exceptional.
Together, let’s Make the Universe Great Again - MUGA.
