Sophie Nikoladze
Professional snowboard, splitboard and ski instructor with great experience spanning the slopes of Georgia, Australia, France and China, basically whole planet where it’s covered in snow, she probably glided down all of it. (due to intergalactic laws, we cannot disclose her off-planet experience or the names of slopes beyond our Galaxy).
Competed in the Freeride World Tour Qualifiers, but always picks a friendly mountain adventure over a podium. A proud member of the Georgian Canyoning Federation, happiest when surrounded by rocks, ropes, rivers or any real excuse to be outdoors. A passionate Intercultural Worker and firm believer in the power of non-formal education, she connects effortlessly with people from all walks of life (even if they’re in ski boots).
When not jetting off to faraway lands, you’ll find her with a splitboard, chasing untouched powder across the peaks of the Greater & Lesser Caucasus. A freespirit freerider, yet somehow also the most grounding presence at 3,014 meters. Sophie loves, lives, and breathes Altihut. In fact, she’s the beloved daughter of our founder, Mamuka Nikoladze, a fellow adventurer who shares her passion for wild escapes and proudly considers them both, citizens of Planet Earth (with occasional residency somewhere between the clouds and the stars).
