Altihut – Sustainable Mountain Retreat at 3,014 m, our high-altitude eco-hut, was spotlighted in ArchitectMagazine as a standout example of sustainable hospitality and design at 3,014 meters above sea level.
Designed by Georgian studio Stipfold, Altihut combines adventure with architecture. Constructed from lightweight, altitude-friendly materials in Switzerland by S. Muller, it blends natural wood interiors with bold accents, white marble, yellow metal, and playful furniture—for warmth and contrast.
Nestled near Kazbegi, more than a shelter - Altihut serves both as a cozy refuge for mountaineers and a boutique hotel for nature‑loving travelersis. In a world climbing toward sustainability, Altihut leads the way - one step, one story, and one summit at a time.
